Soooo it was a good book but the plot was kinda lacking at certain spots。 Also， the fact that they were high schoolers threw me off so much。 Lastly， the epilogue scene felt a little rushed。 The lipsticks tho？The lollipop thing seems unsanitary to me。

okay i wanna start by saying that i really did enjoy this book。 by saying that though i do not want to just brush off the assault scene in the beginning of the book。 i understand crew’s friend group and how their whole personalities was being rude， but the fact that they made wren feel uncomfortable put me off。 especially when crew grabbed wrens boob on purpose and didn’t let go。 i can’t stand when authors put that in books。 consent is a major thing and it needs to be respected。 i understand tha okay i wanna start by saying that i really did enjoy this book。 by saying that though i do not want to just brush off the assault scene in the beginning of the book。 i understand crew’s friend group and how their whole personalities was being rude， but the fact that they made wren feel uncomfortable put me off。 especially when crew grabbed wrens boob on purpose and didn’t let go。 i can’t stand when authors put that in books。 consent is a major thing and it needs to be respected。 i understand that this is a 18+ book， but you can have anyone of any age reading these books and think that stuff like that is okay。 even if someone is over the age of 18， they can still think that it is okay。moving on from that i really enjoyed the romance perspective of the book。 i enjoyed seeing crews character development。 wren blossomed into a wonderful young woman and became more into her own。 my favorite character in the book is wrens mom， cecily。 she was just immaculate。 from the beginning， i wasn’t a fan of her， but after getting to know her i had a big place in my heart for her。 i couldnt stand wrens dad， harvey。 he was a controlling piece of shit who didn’t understand privacy and space。 the plot would immediately get better when he wasn’t being talked about。 it was interesting to see a the book talk about her relationship with her father because it is rare that i see books mention things like that。 the purity ring was gold。 THE SMUT！！ it was my favorite out of all the smut i’ve read， but it was long and good。 definitely well written。 overall i really liked the book！！ 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 This book was a little bit of a rollercoaster of emotions for me。 So I’ve split up the pros ands cons list of thoughts I had whilst reading this book。Positives - there is a chemistry between crew and wren， sometimes it felt like it was purely sexual but there is many moments of softness that warms you up to both of them- i related to the character of wren in ways - certainly not to her wealth - but that realisation that you’ve been floating around on a cloud most of your life and the world isn’t This book was a little bit of a rollercoaster of emotions for me。 So I’ve split up the pros ands cons list of thoughts I had whilst reading this book。Positives - there is a chemistry between crew and wren， sometimes it felt like it was purely sexual but there is many moments of softness that warms you up to both of them- i related to the character of wren in ways - certainly not to her wealth - but that realisation that you’ve been floating around on a cloud most of your life and the world isn’t so rose tinted as you first thought- boy obsessed with girl trope - there are cute moments in this book， the spicy scenes are spicy so can’t complain - the exploration and development of wrens character was beautiful， her insecurities about her body and self were very relatableNegatives- the misogyny in this book drives me INSANE。 There is not a single man in this book that seems to have ANY respect for a woman （ including the main character）。 Maybe I shouldn’t be surprised， considering the real world is much the same but the lack of respect is actually crazy - in some ways this book tries to convince us that wren has been released from her father’s control but to me crew is very much just her father？？？ Like I know the character sort of touches on it and says that crew had respect for her but I don’t know… felt like she went from one controlling man to another？？- the whole ‘you used to hate me’ line brought up constantly was a little annoying to me personally。 Giving pick me vibes 。。。more
